Art Camp: Art, Poetry, and Murals!

Camp Date: Monday, September 21, 2026

Location: 3016 Houston Avenue, Houston TX 77009

Ages: 7–12 years old

Children age 6 who are currently in 1st grade may attend if: they are a sibling of another camper, a returning Dream Bird Art School student, or show interest in art (contact for consideration).

Camp Cost

$160 per child

Standard Camp Hours: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Lunch: Pizza provided

Each child will receive a personal copy of the book Art, poetry and activities: Arte, poesia y actividades

Optional Extended Hours

Early Arrival: 8:00–9:00 AM — $15

Late Pickup: 3:00–5:00 PM — $15

Snack provided during late pickup.

Art Camp Schedule

9:00–11:00 AM — Morning Studio
We’ll explore creative exercises from the book Art, Poetry and Activities lead by the author herself, Najeda Cerda! Each camper will receive their own copy of the book to take home and share with their family.

11:00 AM–1:00 PM — Lunch & Woodland Park

1:00–3:00 PM — Mural Painting
Campers will work together to create a collaborative mural painting inspired by the ideas and artworks developed during the morning studio.

Minimum Enrollment

A minimum of 5 campers is required for camp to be held. If minimum enrollment is not reached at least 72 hours before camp, families will receive a full refund.

Bonus Terms & Conditions

Maximum of 5 campers may book early arrival & late pickup at no additional cost. The bonus offer ends when either the maximum is reached or by Tuesday 9/15 11:59pm.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Contact us 14 or more days before camp for a full refund. If less than 14 days before camp, a partial refund can be provided. If 72 hours or less before camp, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
